Hi, I'm Hewitt
In May 2024, I completed a BASc in Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo. I enjoy writing performant, low-level software that interfaces with real-world hardware.
Most recently, I interned at Tesla, working on body controls firmware. Prior to that, I wrote software (in Rust!) that controlled a self-driving electric train at Parallel Systems, and worked on a BLE-based IoT device at Splunk.
In my free time, I like to cycle, canoe camp, and play guitar.
